Many are familiar with Artie Chavez. However, you may not know who he was. Artie helped start the 5/6 grade lacrosse team at Rangers Lacrosse. He was involved in all levels of youth and High School programs at Rangers Lacrosse. He served as a volunteer, on the board and as a Coach.
Artie passed away in January of 2014.
The Rangers Lacrosse program would like to continue to honor his efforts in the CTYLA and THSLL community. The goal is to support players who love lacrosse and may face a financial hardship that prevents them from participating otherwise. The hardship scholarship is open to any youth or High School male, who would like play lacrosse for Rangers Youth or HS Programs and to help minimize the cost for those to participate. The board will review applications to the fund and allocate as available.
